Juan Carlos Flamand is a Partner at Fragomen’s Phoenix office. He has practiced immigration law exclusively since 2006 with a focus on representing large technology companies. He has extensive experience with nonimmigrant visas as well as all aspects of immigrant visa processing. He routinely counsels clients on compliance and advocacy matters. Juan Carlos’ previous legal experience includes having practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Virginia.

Juan Carlos is a graduate of the Arizona State Bar Leadership Institute and served as Chair of the State Bar Immigration Section and on the State Bar Appointments Committee.

Jill Bloom has devoted her career to immigration law, with a focus on business immigration and making strategic partnerships with clients of all sizes. She is a passionate, thoughtful, strategic and knowledgeable attorney whose belief that diversity is critical to country’s economies and betterment of society is at the core of her practice. She works closely with clients to create custom client focused immigration programs to help them attract and retain the best and brightest individuals from around the globe.

Working with companies in the chemical, technology, animal sciences, education, semi-conductor, clean energy industries and more, Jill serves as a strategic partner and problem solver, helping clients not only tackle current, pressing immigration and mobility challenges, but also anticipating short-term and long-term compliance issues which may affect their business. Clients especially appreciate Jill’s innovative ideas related to development and implementation of pilot programs as well as benchmarking so that they can properly adjust their programs in pursuit of global talent.

Additionally, Jill advises on all aspects of business immigration law, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residency with a focus on PERM, expatriate assignments, strategic compliance and immigration support for corporate restructuring. She also advises clients on a wide range of family-based immigration issues.

Jill is a frequent speaker on a wide range of immigration-related topics and regularly presents at large conferences.
