This program begins with a primer on human trafficking – defining the terms and identifying some of the unique challenges of these cases, followed by a discussion on the statutes, ordinances and regulations related to sex and labor trafficking. Next, the presentation features the human trafficking specialty court in the Maricopa County Superior Court Juvenile Division. Finally, the faculty examines the immigration impact for witnesses, victims, and suspects in human trafficking cases.
