Description

The seminar features four individual presentations on a single criminal justice reform topic:


  • Pretrial diversions and alternatives to prosecution
  • Sentencing reforms
  • Arizona sentencing reforms
  • Collateral consequence reforms

Panel members will be available for questions at the conclusion of individual presentations.

1. An overview of various reforms in all phases of the criminal justice system, from both National and Arizona perspectives
2. Pretrial diversion programs and alternatives to prosecution or incarceration
3. Sentencing reforms, including incarceration and release
4. Reforming civil rights restoration, collateral consequences, and expungement procedures
