Description

This practical course is intended to give you an introduction to consumer bankruptcy law and covers basics for those new to this practice area.
 
You will learn how to:
 

  • Evaluate your client’s situation – is bankruptcy the right option?
  • Understand differences between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy
  • Assess which Chapter is best for your client
  • Collect fees ethically, including a discussion on unbundled services
