State Bar of Arizona


Robert L. Tepper is the Chief Member Services Officer for the State Bar of Arizona, she has been with the State Bar since 2004. The Member Services Division houses numerous programs and departments, including Continuing Legal Education; Lawyer Assistance Programs; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Legal Specialization; Mandatory CLE and Compliance; the Bar's Resource Center, and more. Roberta was previously the Lawyer Assistance Programs Director, which included responsibility for Practice 2.0, the State Bar of Arizona's practice management advice program, the Bar's Member Assistance Program, and support for the Bar's 30 Sections as well as the Young Lawyer and Senior Lawyer Divisions. Roberta previously served as a prosecutor in North Carolina; worked in court administration in Delaware; and served as Bar Counsel and then Senior Bar Counsel in the Lawyer Regulation Office before joining the Member Services team in 2013. Ms. Tepper is an active member of the Law Practice Division of the American Bar Association, serves on the Law Practice Division Council and served as the co-Chair of the ABA TECHSHOW 2021Board. She is a frequent author of articles on practice management and lawyer wellness and well-being for the ABA's Law Practice Magazine and Law Practice Today. Roberta is a Fastcase 50 honoree (2019), an award that recognizes innovators, visionaries and leaders in law and was selected as one of the 2021 Women of Legal Tech by the ABA's Legal Technology Resource Center . She chairs the Practice Management Advisors of North America, is a Past President and an ex officio member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors and as a past chapter President is an ex officio member of the AWLA, Maricopa Chapter, Steering Committee. A graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law, Ms. Tepper is admitted to practice in Arizona, and is an inactive member of the North Carolina and Delaware Bars.

Kristin Moyé, Esq., LL.M. is an Attorney/ Practice Management Advisor at the State Bar of Arizona. Prior to joining the State Bar, Ms. Moyé was a partner at Becker Zarling & Moyé Law, where she focused her practice on estate planning and small businesses. Ms. Moyé has spent the bulk of her career in legal education. Following law school, she worked at the Arizona Supreme Court. There, she developed training for judges, judicial officers, and court staff. She also has taught extensively in paralegal programs and served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Arizona Summit Law School, having taught Legal Research, Wills, and Trusts. In law school, she was an Editor on Law Review and now has two published articles in the areas of employment law and estate planning. Ms. Moyé earned her J.D. from the Phoenix School of Law among the pioneers of the school starting in 2005 and holds an LL.M. from the Pepperdine School of Law, where she wrote her thesis on best practices in legal education. While earning her LL.M., Ms. Moyé mediated numerous conflicts at the Los Angeles Superior Court, as well as at the Phoenix Division of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Currently, Ms. Moyé immensely enjoys her position as Attorney/Practice Management Advisor for the Practice 2.0 program. Practice 2.0 is a free service for State Bar of Arizona members that provides advice, education and resources about practice management, starting and running a law firm as a business, marketing, client relations and communication, technology, and more.
