In 2023, new requirements for initial petitions and notice to interested persons have been adopted, including significant changes.
The Arizona legislature also created a completely new “probate advisory panel” consisting of eleven members from designated categories. This new panel, as yet unorganized, is set up in the Governor’s office, and is tasked with considering how to improve the adult guardianship and conservatorship laws.
