Description

“Be curious, not judgmental.” Ted Lasso, the hit show on Apple TV, is about a Midwest American football coach who is hired to coach football (aka soccer) in the Premier League in the London neighborhood of Richmond. Attendees will learn how the Rules of Professional Conduct are prevalent throughout the series, as well as understand the importance of emotional intelligence in the legal field. Lessons from John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success are highlighted throughout the series and the presentation.

WARNING: Profanity is prevalent in the series. If you don’t like to hear profanity, this is probably not the presentation for you.

(pronouns she/her/hers) was born and raised as a Midwesterner, but has called Arizona home for over 20 years. She has been the Town Prosecutor for the Town of Sahuarita since 2016 and also serves as the Prosecution Services Manager- overseeing the day to day administrative operations of the Criminal Division of the Department of Law. After her Rule 38(d) Prosecution Internship with the Oro Valley Town Prosecutor, Rona continued her legal career for over ten years at the Pima County Attorney’s Office, where she served as a law clerk before being assigned to multiple trial teams: Misdemeanors, Narcotics, Gang, Violent Crime and Felony Animal Cruelty. Rona didn’t settle for fine, and she feels like she’s been struck by lightning everyday being married to her husband, Matthew, for over eighteen years. In her (little) spare time, Rona enjoys drinking coffee and sampling Gose beers, giving her dogs lots of belly rubs, and is in her “Soccer and Basketball Mom Era” with her 13 year old daughter.
