W. Patrick Traynor is a Shareholder in the Tucson law firm of Waterfall, Economidis, Caldwell, Hanshaw & Villamana, P.C. Mr. Traynor was born in Laramie, Wyoming. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arizona State University in 1969 with high distinction, and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Arizona State University in 1972. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. He is a Certified Specialist in Family Law in Arizona and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is Past President of the Arizona Chapter. He is a former Member of the Board of Directors of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona, and is a past Chairman of the Family Law Section of the Pima County Bar Association and was, for many years, the Reporter for Arizona for the "Law in the 50 States" issues of the Family Law Quarterly published by the American Bar Association Family Law Section. Mr. Traynor is a frequent lecturer on various family law issues including spousal maintenance, pension benefits, and stock option benefits. He is a former Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, and is listed in The Best Lawyers In America for more than 20 years. Mr. Traynor has served as a Family Law Judge Pro Tempore since 1990. He has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and also selected by The Best Lawyers in America as Tucson Family Law Attorney of the Year for the Year 2013, and for the year 2015. (12/2015)
