Don Powell has practiced bankruptcy law in Phoenix for 48 years. He volunteers on a monthly basis with the Volunteer Lawyers Program Financial Distress Clinic and has regularly accepted pro bono bankruptcy cases. Don has been selected for the Arizona Supreme Court 2021 Pro Bono Service award and has been designated twice by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services as a Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney in Arizona. He is a member of the U of A Foundation Board of Trustees and the Governing Board of the U of A Alumni Association. Don is president-elect of the U of A Law College Association, participates as a mentor in the U of A Wildcat Mentor Society and is on the executive council of the State Bar of Arizona Senior Lawyers Division.
