Diane M. Ellis assumed the position of Director of the State Bar of Arizona’s Law Office Management Assistance Program (LOMAP) in July 1993. In May 2000, she was named Director of the State Bar’s Lawyer Assistance Programs, including the Member Assistance Program and LOMAP. Before joining the State Bar staff, Ms. Ellis had 10 years prior management experience in the legal field. Ms. Ellis attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism for three years before completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Arizona State University. She has completed accounting, business, law, computer, paralegal and public relations coursework at Arizona State University and local community colleges. She anticipates receiving a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Management from Western International University in June 2001. After completing three Association’s Law Practice Management Section, Ms. Ellis now serves as a committee member. As a member id the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), she has served as an officer and on committees of the Arizona Chapter and as a member of the ALA National Editorial Advisory Committee. She also is a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association.
