Charles D. “Skip” Fox, IV is a partner in the Chicago office of McGuireWoods LLP, where his practice concentrates on estate planning, estate administration, trust law and charitable organizations. A Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Mr. Fox is the author of Estate Planning With Life Insurance (CCH), and the co-author of four books, including the three-volume Estate Planning Manual (American Bankers Association). A national speaker and writer on estate planning topics, Mr. Fox is Chair of the Editorial Board of Trust & Investments, and has contributed to the Journal of Asset Protection, the Real Property and Probate & Trust Journal, among many others. He is also a columnist for Trust & Investments on tax matters. Mr. Fox formerly served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law and been on the faculty of the American Bankers Association National Trust School and the National Graduate Trust School since 1987. He received his A.B. from Princeton, his M.A. from Yale, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia.
