Anthony J. Bocchino


Anthony J. Bocchino a NITA faculty member for over 30 years, has consulted regarding trial, deposition, fact investigation, negotiation and motion practice training for both NITA public programs and for many in-house clients. From 1994-1999 he served as the fifth Director of NITA. He is a member of the Temple University Beasley School of Law where he was named the Feinberg Professor of Litigation in 1997 and teaches evidence, civil procedure, criminal law and trial and litigation skills. He also maintains an Of-Counsel relationship with Haines & Associates where his practice concerns the litigation and trial of Plaintiff's catastrophic injury and economic tort cases. Bocchino is the author of over 60 books and articles on evidence, trial advocacy, civil litigation and professional responsibility. He has won numerous awards for service to NITA and the 2003 Jacobson Award for Excellence in Teaching Trial Advocacy from the Roscoe Pound Institute of ATLA. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the International Society of Barristers and a member of the American Law Institute.
