Description

This seminar is for all lawyers (and firm administrators) who are responsible for managing a firm or legal department of a public entity or company – regardless of the size of the firm.
 
The speakers will provide practical tips for managing a practice to comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct and spend more time actually practicing law.  Practice management topics will include:
*client communication (ER 1.4)
*client intake (forms and procedures)
*conflict checking procedures (as opposed to 10 deadly sins of…)
*docketing (even for non litigation practices)
*workload management
*supervision of staff
*data retention requirements (and duties upon a breach)
*succession requirements
*general practice management tips to improve efficiency
*hiring and retaining qualified professionals
