In this seminar the attendees learn how to navigate an adoption involving a child in the care of the state Department of Child Safety, as well as how private adoptions differ. Attendees also learn the basics of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children in an effort to ensure compliance and avoid issues with adoptive placements involving children from other states.
