This presentation will provide a general overview of the Arizona Procurement Code and how procurement operates within the government. Discussion will include:
• an overview of the Arizona Procurement Code,
• who and what the Arizona Procurement Code covers,
• solicitations and the process,
• remedies available regarding the solicitation process as well as contract claims,
• resources available through the State Procurement Office, and
• important Arizona procurement cases

Charles A. Grube. Your friend Chuck has practiced law since Harvard Law School handed him a degree and demanded that he leave in 1980. Since then, he has practiced with two giant law firms, a medium firm and a small law partnership, as well as serving as in-house counsel in a major banking concern. For the last 27 years, he has been an Arizona assistant attorney general, helping many agencies comply with procurement issues discussed in this seminar.
Kelly Michele Wagner
Prior to her escape to the warmer weather of Arizona in 2018, Kelly received her JD from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, MN in 2001. Throughout her almost 17 years in practice in Minnesota, Kelly worked as a trial court law clerk, assistant county attorney as well as an assistant city attorney. In between her varied roles as a criminal prosecutor, Kelly ventured into private practice in the areas of real estate law, wills/trusts and probate/estate law, as well as providing city attorney services for several small towns throughout southeast Minnesota. Shortly after her arrival to Arizona, Kelly joined the Arizona Attorney General’s office and has provided advice and representation to various agencies, boards, and commissions.
