This presentation is an effort to translate the concepts of public law issues so private business law attorneys better know how you can help public entities work with you for the benefit of your private sector clients. There are major restrictions on how public entities are authorized to do business. The more you understand those restrictions and can help a public entity avoid problems, the more your clients can benefit from working with public entities.
Brandon J Kavanagh
Brandon J. Kavanagh is a Partner/Member with the firm of Mangum, Wall, Stoops & Warden, PLLC, which has existed in Flagstaff since 1955. Brandon was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1999, having been admitted to practice law in Maryland in 1997. After growing up in Flagstaff, Brandon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University with honors in 1994. He earned his law degree from George Washington University School of Law in 1997. He worked with the firm as an associate attorney from 1999-2005 before moving to Phoenix to work with Gust Rosenfeld PLC as an associate and then as a Partner. In July 2010, he returned to the firm as a Partner to raise his family where he was born and raised. Brandon focuses his legal practice on business law, real estate, and public law matters. He also has experience in litigation, trusts and estates, and employment law. Brandon was the Chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona for 2008-2009 and is currently a Member at Large of the Business Law Section Executive Committee.
