Trial Basics, From Final Trial Management Conference to Closing Arguments

An overview of how to prepare for and perform at trial. This course will cover topics such as preparation for the Final Trial Management Conference, motions in limine, deposition objections, preparation of the trial notebook and exhibits, and how to present effective opening statements, examinations, and closing arguments. Perfect for attorneys who are preparing for their first trial, or those that need a refresher before their next trial.

Zachary Evan Mushkatel
is the managing partner of Mushkatel, Gobbato & Kile, PLLC. His individual practice focuses on complex medical malpractice, personal injury and estate litigation matters. Zach is a present board and faculty member for the Arizona State Bar College of Trial Advocacy and past President of the West Maricopa County Bar Association. Zach enjoys mentoring new attorneys in the areas of trial practice and strategic planning.
Tyler Howell Schwenke
is a Litigation Associate at Jennings Haug Keleher McLeod Waterfall. Tyler’s practice includes a variety of areas of law, including medical malpractice, business litigation, and insurance defense. Tyler obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona before attending Arizona State University for law school. Tyler serves as a member of the faculty for the Arizona State Bar College of Trial Advocacy and coaches the undergraduate mock trial team at Arizona State University.
