Security Assessments and Pen Testing for Law Firms
Original Program Date :

Security Assessments and Pen Testing for Law Firms teaches lawyers the benefits and necessity of having their networks scanned for vulnerabilities and weaknesses – even law firms on a budget. There are affordable solutions for firms of all sizes. Assessing your cybersecurity is extremely important in the current hybrid work environment where vulnerabilities are far greater, and hackers are focused on exploiting them – especially with remote workers. While the process may seem overwhelming, with a little education, you will learn how to strengthen your firm’s security posture further.

This CLE will cover the basics of these services, how to engage a vendor, questions to ask, and exactly what each service will entail.

Some of the focused discussion points include:

  • What are the differences between a security assessment and a penetration test?
  • How long does each one take to complete?
  • How do I prepare for an assessment or pen test?
  • What are the expected costs?
  • What are the deliverables?
  • How often should I have these services performed?
