This session focuses on planning for estate planning and probate practitioners from the perspective of a more senior attorney planning for retirement and succession, an attorney who acquired a practice through a well-planned succession plan and an attorney who unexpectedly acquired a practice without a succession plan. The State Bar Lawyer Assistance Programs Director discusses ethical considerations with succession planning and the State Bar’s role in same.
