January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.  Join this panel to gain an overview of what human trafficking is and some of the common legal needs presented by human trafficking survivors. 
 
Attendees will learn the definition of human trafficking, hear examples of human trafficking as it occurs in Arizona, as well as in a national context, and learn about resources available for trafficked individuals. The session will explore labor trafficking and sex trafficking, and how policies and practices have evolved and must continue to evolve to identify and support U.S. Citizen and noncitizen survivors.
